Barrie Sorensen Big Band

In my first year university I made a very important discovery : Upright Bass Players will always have work. At the ripe age of 17 I was asked by Barrie Sorensen to join his Big Band which was made up of mostly PEI Music teachers, seasoned and experienced musicians and...me. Terrified, I went to each rehearsal and developed two things : a new found love for Big Band and Funk music and very very tough Callouses due to a lack of an Upright Bass Pickup.
