Julain Molnar

12 Jun 2003

Julain and I started working together during the first season of Late Night at the Mack.

She instantly became my hero when she wanted to do Joni Mitchell's "The Dry Cleaner from Des Moines"  ( the one that Jaco Pastorius plays on and did the horn arrangement for...i.e. the groovingest tune in the world! Check it out at Amazon

anyway...she became my hero when she actually knew of it...but then she wanted to perform it...awesome...

I did my best Jaco and she sounded so much like Joni it was great...

She's been a pleasure to work with during all of the Late Night at the Mack years and great to work with her in Canada Rocks as well.

A great spirit and a great person.

In may of 2006 Mike Ross, Kirk White, & myself recorded Julain's first CD entitled "Lullabies for a Sleepless World".  A project we're all very proud of.
